Leather, tortoise-shell, and metal

The high-waisted dresses of the Regency period featured long expanses of fabric against which accessories could be displayed. This embossed leather handbag features gold-coloured foliage and delicate floral motifs that match the warm tones of the tortoise-shell inlay. The clasp is in the form of a crown and a lyre.
