Silk moiré and steel beads
The design of this purse is reminiscent of the tie-on pockets worn between the seventeenth and early twentieth centuries. Its silk moiré features delicate scroll and foliate beadwork along with looped and latticed fringing. It contains an interior purse with a metal clasp.
